Too many turnips

Some I'll mash with potatoes.  Some I'll try using with this recipe:

Some go to shaggyman, now that my transport system is back on line!

Edit:  Wash the turnips before cooking them.  Some may be beets.

Other edit:  Veggie soup is low fat, low sodium, tastes ok.  Might benefit from wine, lemon juice or pepper.  1.5 cups noodles may be too many.
