Once upon a time I made a point of dressing "professionally" so that people would be able to tell the professor from the students. Today I was walking down the hall in sneakers, jeans and a (nice) T-shirt carrying an empty cardboard box and a stack of books. I was called upon to do an impromptu advising session for a middle aged student while standing in the hallway. I don't seem to have had any trouble convincing him I was a professional.

My wardrobe may suffer a relapse...
