Turnip Report
The new CSA is Parker Farm. ZOMG the vegetables.
The turnips I quartered, microwaved for 6 minutes (5 would have been enough) with rosemary, water and white wine, then drained and coated lightly with butter.
I based the pea shoot salad on this recipe, chopping half the shoots and tossing with a pint of strawberries and 3/4 of an avocado. I ate half of it with some balsamic syrup I had in the fridge.
