Experimental results
Thanks to all who replied to my experiment! I'm glad the "optional" nature of the response came through; I wasn't sure if I was being too pushy.
I really liked the variety in responses. That was one of the things I was hoping for, and also a good reminder that LJ isn't the same thing to all people. (I was surprised by the work-related responses, because so far LJ isn't at all work related for me.)
So, I learned something, but one of the things I learned is that this isn't "it" either.
