Strawberries

I'm contemplating going out to Verill Farm (near Walden Pond) on Tuesday morning to pick strawberries. Please reply to this post if you'd be interested in joining me.

I am fairly generous in my interpretation of "morning", but if it's too hot and sunny out I won't last long in the fields.

Supporting women in math

I'm resisting the temptation to write a military themed final exam about the actions of a fictional organization named SWORD. I'm worried that it would give my male students an unfair advantage.

What makes this particularly ironic is that I'm female, as is the majority of the class.
