New trucks!

On Saturdays, the diggy trucks sleep in.  Then the squirrels can come visit their trees.  There are two trees missing, but that's not so bad.

Yesterday the man with the tripod came, and a cement mixer!  The big yellow truck had to be very careful to make the hole the right size for the cement mixer.

There's a new truck that's orange and medium sized, but it doesn't look like it's doing anything.  Maybe it's a supervisor truck.

This web site helps clarify some of my confusion about when a number should be spelled out vs. typed using digits (I think Conway prefers all cardinal numbers to be written using digits).  However, I am not at all certain it's worth spending time on it in my el.ed. class.

Cement mixer

Today the cement mixer came again.  The men with no shirts built a little house for it to pour cement into.  Cement mixers have to come back all the time because they can't put in all the cement at once or it wouldn't dry and it would be the wrong shape.



The new orange diggy truck invited its friend the yellow dog to come and play.
