Blue cheese bread pudding
beat together:
1 egg
3/2 c milk
1 tsp dried onion
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
mix in:
1/2 c walnuts
3 c bread cubes
mix until bread cubes are soggy. mix in:
1/2 c blue cheese crumbles
Bake covered in a small buttered casserole for 25 minutes at 350 and then bake for 5 more minutes uncovered.

I haven't tried eating this yet, but I have learned that frozen bread is harder to cut than one might expect. A small slice of bread yields a little over 1/2 cup.
Edit: Very tasty, though I'm not sure I like what the walnuts do to the texture. I may try sun dried tomatos instead of walnuts next time.
