Word of the Day

My new pet peeve is that the "Maker Culture" label and ethos seems to dismiss or belittle traditional making such as quilting, cooking, spinning, knitting, carpentry, farming, etc. Technology is shiny and you can do sexy things with it, but that doesn't make your creative process better than anyone else's.
Maybe I'm totally misreading these guys (and girls?) I hope so.
