Word of the Day

Amazon finally talked me into reading Ilona Andrews. More vampires and werewolves, more clichéd romantic tension, but at least the powerful and handsome young men vying for the heroine's attention demonstrate positive traits beyond enigmatic and charismatic (but they're still classically irritating to the heroine, and she's still "spunky" verging on suicidal). Also, I hadn't noticed that the werewolf/vampire divide falls along heart/mind, McCoy/Spock lines. Is this something obvious I've been missing all along, or something particular to Andrews?
