A few weeks ago, I enjoyed working through the stack of papers on my desk and ending with an orderly, usable surface.
Today, I'm dreading it.
Apparently there's a point past which anticipating the joy of a job well done succumbs to the dread of doing it. I should remember this when dealing with grading, vacation planning, etc.
