Turnip Report
Oct. 20th, 2018 11:46 amI'm currently cutting the turnips into matchsticks and drowning them in ranch dressing. Ranch dressing is tasty, so this is an acceptable solution.
It took me two weeks to start cooking the squash, so now I have 3 in the fridge. I've got one good recipe for squash muffins, but don't really need two dozen. I may cross that recipe with: https://www.mybakingaddiction.com/butternut-squash-bread/
(Of course it's a carnival squash I'll be cooking.)
I'm substituting quark for cream cheese and queso fresco for Jack cheese. This might help me catch up on the cheese front.
