mathhobbitIndoor Clover is selling turnip sandwiches! The turnips come from Hadley, MA near where my father was born.
Also, it is possible to freeze grated beets to bake into muffins later in the year. I'm using the white pepper, ginger and cardamom variant of this recipe:

I bake them 15-20 minutes in muffin tins. Makes 14 (that's 2 1/3 muffin pans).
Next up: frozen grated carrots!
