It turns out that splitting a farm share was limiting me. I am no longer afraid of garlic scapes; they go well in baked egg thing.

This week I think I'll sub kohlrabi for celery root and try:

Interesting! My mom had a crunchy-fruit/crunchy-vegetable/raisin/dressing type thing she did. I expect this one is probably more healthy. :)

Mmmm, garlic scapes. Yay, figuring out new ingredients!

Yeah, they're scary looking but they taste a lot like the wild garlic I used to get as a kid.

The salad is amazing. Will try again, perhaps with beets in place of kohlrabi. Also, the shallot was too big.

The soup recipe is ridiculous. Also, my grocery store doesn't stock savory. In half an hour I'll know how successful my tweaks are.

I found that recipe, but I don't trust myself to handle mayonnaise based dressings.

Penzey's has savory, so long as you're OK with dry. I've never tried looking for fresh.

I may only ever have seen savory once, so you're ahead of me! My grocery store is known more for convenience than for variety.
