Turnip report

Carrot parsnip latkes

I wonder what they consider a "large" parsnip to be.  I ended up doubling the egg/flour mixture.

Or a large carrot, for that matter. <remembers the time she got a heap of carrots as big as her wrist and as long as her forearm> I think of "large" parsnips as ~3-per-pound, but that's filtering for parsnips that wind up in bags at the grocery store, with no idea what size range parsnips generally are.

That sounds like a promising latke mix, though! Some cinnamon or other warm spices might suit them well, too.
