The latest Enormous Gaming Run doesn't have a raise dead spell. Instead it has oceans of red tape to be navigated by the deceased. My character is relatively frequently deceased.

That sounds like an exciting mess. Does the character need help from the living to return, or is this doable by a dedicated deceased person and most of the departed don't bother, or is returning common ...?

Dragon. Characters mostly don’t die by accident, so there’s usually a plan to escape the afterlife.
