There. skwawk. The second 'w' is more there to shape the 'a' sound than to be a full sound of it's own. "Squak" would have a different, shorter 'a' sound.
But then, I have a ghost of an 'l' in talk when I'm not being sloppy, and my pronunciation is shaped by reading things before hearing them in a lot of cases, so salt heavily.
