On growing up

I am finally coming to accept that I am no longer a "junior faculty member" and that I should be taking on the roles and responsibilities of senior faculty -- whatever those are.  This comes years after tenure, and two semesters after my first sabbatical.  I'm nothing if not stubborn.

On a related note, I looked at the conflicts on my calendar today and chose yoga over chocolate tasting.  I really needed that.
