So far, Operation Toxic Sludge is a success. The red pepper jelly came out surprisingly sweet and mild. Given that I have no clue what strength of all of these peppers are, I can't expect that to continue.
For a month or two I've been putting all the hot peppers from the farmshare in a drawer in the fridge. Only one went far enough bad to be unusable, but it's likely my patience will run out before the peppers do. Also, I'm making the stuff in the breadbot so can't get more than 2 cups of jam per hour and a half -- more like 1c/hour.
Also, size small latex gloves actually are small! I think that says something about the health care industry; not sure what.
