False Truths

As I was passing the park up the hill, I happened to see the man who is growing corn in the community garden.  I asked him how he'd polinated it, because I've heard you can't grow corn in plots that small.  He described his simple technique (I think he did it with his bare hands!) and said it hadn't been difficult.

I then asked how to sign up for a plot.  His wife told me that there was a waiting list, and that if I was a renter I shouldn't bother.  I pointed out that I've been a renter in this neighborhood for ten years.

The waiting list is, apparently, morsekelleyplayground at gmail.
