Owning my mistakes
Feb. 7th, 2015 09:54 amI've given up making new years' resolutions, mostly because making and breaking resolutions highlights my lack of control over my life.
This year, I may actually have broken my resolution not to have any resolutions. I've been gradually growing more aware of the folly of refusing to admit error, and lately I find myself saying things like "I hit your car while I was parking" and "I broke the bathroom sink".
Or perhaps I've just hit "senile: danger to self and others" extra early.
