mathhobbitMaking broth now -- apparently I missed "national homemade soup day".
New rule: it's ok to boil your vegetables (cabbages) if your traditional family recipe calls for that.
Another rule: radishes should come with warning labels. Both the baby turnips and the beets turned out to be radishes, so now I have radish/carrot broth.

Date: 2023-02-06 01:53 am (UTC)Radishes brown nicely when sauteed, and I think that cuts down on their heat some, but possibly I've used relatively mild radishes for that.
Telling you what's in your share each week would be nice, especially if there are unusual varieties.
